my new project is going nowhere.. someone help kick me further pls.

here is what happen last week in photos, some i post on instagram and some i haven't .

Yes, my work desk is filled with vintage toys, explain why work is slowing down haha.

i keep recollecting those stupid shyt and play like kid. yes, i was a big fan of polly pocket and sandylion (and lipsmackers but that isn't vintage cos it still available).

i was in Calgary when i was 8 and bought all sandylion sparkling stickers and put them in my secret sticker folders i got from a dollar shop.

i just found them in my old boxes last week and my 90's flash black strikes. After 2000, i was over those stuffs and was all into claire's and libby lu girlish stuffs, oh and colorful wristband noone wear them anymore.

peterpan syndrome

I have been searching for the polly pocket collection from the 1995, the fairy collection. I really like it when I saw this collection on someone pinterest but it so hard to find in complete set. i still have my toys such as the 1998 furby, polly pocket from 93-99, and old tamagotchi. Maybe I will eventually start collecting toys from the 90's again.

And I did, I bought over 8 vintage polly from different online store in the last couple weeks.
Some start arriving now.
Here's a peak in my mini collection. Tell you the truth, it's super addictive. I keep searching searching over the web and buy buy buy.

Sunday in the studio!

I finally got a new iPad. People said I should wait for the iPad5 ,but I just couldn't wait for iPad5.

Back to my life update, I have been working 7 days a week for 2 weeks now, Mon-Sat. from 11am-7pm for my other job and then work on mynthlr product/orders from 9pm-midnight. FYI, it wasn't that tried or anything I really like working. BUT I need to finish orders and stuffs on Sunday because I don't have enough time on weekday ,but it's totally fun when you got series on your iPad, your favorite radio station on, and some summer ice tea. I never knew I could multitask, like sew and watch tv. I have sewn like over a hundred bags with nothing on, like pure silence and its pure boredom. Haha, I felt like I'm 1.846295638 time smarter now. I'm going to go back to work now + watch another episode of 2 broke girls.

Minato Mirai

I went to Minato Mirai in Yokohama by myself, yes, by myself. I really enjoy traveling alone and just walk walk walk and walk in long distance since Japan is safer than many other countries. I really want to go to Anpanman museum ,but i guess nobody want to go with me hahaha. Here's the list of places that I went in just one day:

 

1. Anpanman museum - my childhood fav. hero haha

2. Nippon maru musuem - japanese ship musuem and real nippon maru open for visitor to walk around.

3. Cup noodle musuem - i made my own customized cup noodle too!

4. Red brick - kind of like a shopping mall ,but in a old building.

5. Pokemon center

 

I walk around Cosmo world and also Yokohama art musuem too, but the art musuem is close due to renovation,so i didn't get to see yoshimoto nara work :(

 

How it start? I got off at Minato Mirai station. Walk to Yokohama Museum of Art.

Then realise it's close for renovation and will be open in Nov. (I was there during late September '12, just so you know this is a super delay post)

So I walk to Anpanman museum (Well, full name was Anpanman CHILDREN musuem.)

I will dedicate a post for it later (hope i will within this year haha)

Then walk to Nippon maru ship musuem. It's super cool and worth visiting, why? because I even learn how to control a ship via stimulator game haha, for free but my ship broke down withing 2 mins after it depart from pier.

I will also write a post about it too. Yes, and next to the ship musuem was Cosmoworld!

I cross the bridge over to the other side which Cup noodles musuem and Red bricks are located.

AND i bought a ticket and ticket for cupnoodle making. The cup noodle making was another 30 minutes queqe ,so i decide to watch "the history of cup noodles" movie in their mini theater. It's 15 minutes short. I felt i was 1.29345689204% smarter after i finish watching, it was in animation tho.

 Then i walk to Red brick and then back to the Pokemon center, it was located in a mall near the station so I decide to drop by. I forgot to take the photo :( Then I took the train back to Tokyo.

 

 

If you will be going to Tokyo and have a free day, take a visit to Minato mirai, Yokohama!

because I just fell in love with Minato mirai, xx
